Lounge & Function Rooms
Summer opening hours are in for the Lounge Bar – please go to main web site for details in the Function Room section. Throughout the summer both Function Room & Lounge Bar are available for hire – contact the club during bar opening times.

The Skittle Alley is available for hire with an extensive food menu; this is a great way to have a smaller private function at very low cost but great fun. £ 6.50 per head & min 10 persons, which is unbeatable value. If you would prefer a different choice of foods, please do contact the Club as they will try to accommodate your needs if at all possible. Available to non registered & social members.
Have your party in the large Function Room – it can take up to 170 persons dependent upon the activities to be held. With bar & kitchen facilities, we can even offer a manned disco at a very competitive rate – see web site for details

The Clubs’ upstairs Lounge bar area is available for bookings to, for kid’s parties etc on Friday nights (other times also), cost for this is £50.00 for the room and an extra £50.00 for a disco if required.

Mini Soccer
The last session for Mini Soccer this season is the Sunday before the end of July’s school term.

If you have not yet booked your child/children into the Fun packed action week at the Club there are a few places left. The dates, times and all details on the main Web site under Mini Soccer section.

The Mini Soccer Sunday sessions are on every Sunday (not including school holidays). They can be joined at any week. They are joined with Oxford United Development Centre (for 5 – 11 yr olds). Wanted
Carterton FC are looking for a Hellenic League Secretary for the forthcoming 2010/11 season. Full training will be given plus assistance if required. Duties include acting as a club representative at League meetings if required and completion of relevant paperwork (all done on line). If interested please contact John McCarthy on 07835623843. Adults (male & female) to assist in the U 16 disco – contact Cliff Grove & Rob King to offer your services & get further details. Some parents show a concern about these events, so come along & monitor for an evening & see for yourself how well they are run & how good the behaviour of the kids can be.

Become more of an active member of your team than just a supporter or parent/team supporter, if you could spare just a little of your time to assist the team manager with just one of the many duties involved with running a successful team, this does not have to be with support on the pitch. All offers would be gratefully accepted from collecting subs, raising money for the tour fund, organising & running a social event to just putting up goals, etc., make the team a social family affair for all to enjoy. The manager’s & if you have one coach’s have lots to do with the team and offers of help are always welcome & it does make their work load just that little bit lighter. Each and every one of us has a talent that could be put to good use that would not take up too much of your time & would be another way of thanking those that do far more than we realise to get a team onto a pitch to play football.

Many teams require players for the forth coming season, so if not already registered with the club, join up. Go to main web site & find the appropriate team manager for this season & discuss your player’s details so that the correct team is found. This applies across the whole range of ages & both female & male.

General news
Party on the Pitch went brilliantly well this year, weather very good although windy. Any photos etc will be posted onto the main web site for general viewing soon.
